Author
of The Making of Modern Economics (2001), Prof. Skousen
teaches economics and finance at Rollins College in Winter
Park, Florida. He is the editor of Forecasts & Strategies,
one of the largest investment newsletters in the U.S. He received
his Ph.D. in economics at George Washington University in
1977, and was an economist for the Central Intelligence Agency
in 1972-75. He has written twenty books on economics and finance,
including The Structure of Production (New York University
Press, 1990), Economics on Trial (Irwin, 1991), Puzzles
and Paradoxes in Economics (Edward Elgar, 1997), and Economic
Logic (Capital Press, 2000).
